Prerequisites for the module - you need to have completed the Bodywork module to navigate through this module well. Working as an apprentice is possible from the 5th module in workshops with a certified facilitator and from the 6th module in a training module. This provides you with security and a confident integration into the work as a facilitator without overwhelming yourself.

In this module, we will explore: - The power of contact; where and how. - Sharing the experiential field of the breather. - The intermittent nature of the process. - The challenge of doing not doing. - Understanding and supporting different kinds of processes. This module involves intense practice of facilitation with direct advice from experienced practitioners and shadow guidance to improve your presence and skills. To maximize your training, in the breathwork sessions sitters will facilitate breathers, and the staff will support you if needed. There will be space for dialogue, questions, and answers to discuss situations and gain confidence in your facilitation. To assist it is indispensable to have done the mandatory module The Power Within (“the Bodywork module”) to have experience as a breather/sitter and some facilitation skills.

The unique way of accompanying processes in Holotropic Breathwork grew from the early groundbreaking work with psychedelics. It has evolved and become a model for other settings in expanded states of consciousness. Facilitating HB usually involves a kind of contact and closeness that differentiates it from other contexts and takes time to learn it properly. It is a distinctive way of supporting processes that would require from the facilitator presence, personal work, knowledge, and a lot of practice.

Juanjo is trained in Integrative Psychotherapy and in the Claudio Naranjo SAT program (Enneagram). Involved with Zen meditation, he has also taken the breathwork to meditation centers. Juanjo has also worked with families in substance addiction rehabilitation programs for several years. His background includes Mindfulness instructor, body-oriented techniques, and shamanism.He began his training in Holotropic Breathwork in the year 1999 and was certified in 2002. Since then, he has been part of Grof Transpersonal Training teaching staff and has facilitated the trainings and workshops in Mexico, Ireland, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, Austria, Poland, and Spain.From 2003 to 2019, he has been the organizer (with Sitara Blasco) of the Spanish GTT program. He has his practice as a psychotherapist in Alicante and also works Online. 



Sitara is a psychologist from Valencia University, Spain, with master studies in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Integrative Psychology. She has done the Claudio Naranjo SAT program (Enneagram). Her background also includes shamanism, meditation, body-oriented techniques, acting, and therapeutic clown.
She began her training in Holotropic Breathwork in 1998 and was certified in 2002. Since then she has been part of Grof Transpersonal Training teaching staff and has facilitated in workshops and trainings in Mexico, Ireland, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, Austria, Poland, and Spain. Since 2003 she co-organized (with Juanjo Segura) the Spanish GTT program. She works as a psychologist in Alicante. She is particularly interested in teaching facilitating and sitting in expanded states of consciousness under the Holotropic Paradigm.
