Holotropic Practicum: boosting your facilitation skills.

The aim of this new optional module is to deepen the experience of Holotropic facilitation in Expanded States of Consciousness (ESC).

It is based on the knowledge learned in "The Power Within" (Bodywork module) and its purpose is taking the skills of the facilitator to a higher level.

This module is open to anyone interested in Holotropic Breathwork, but is especially oriented towards those who are already facilitating or who intend to become HB facilitators in the future.

Topics in this module:

  • Learning the “language” of the processes
  • Significant differences in the intervention during the session and the closure
  • Understanding the curve and flow of experience
  • The process as the main thread of facilitation
  • Focused energy release work: beyond the Bodywork
  • The keys to intensification
  • Voice, words and silences
  • Specific exercises to improve the facilitation
  • "Leading" a process and facilitating as a team
  • Deepening in the challenges: dissociation experiences, severe trauma and abuse, demonic, deep 2nd matrix, choking, others.
  • The Inner Healer of the facilitator allies with the Inner Healer of the breather
  • Sharing the same field of experience: promises and pitfalls
  • Specific questions from participants

During the module, each participant will experience two sessions of HB as an experiencer, or "breather," and two sessions as a partner, or "sitter", lead by Sitara Blasco, Juanjo Segura and GTT staff. Besides the breathwork experiences and the topics covered, there will be mandala drawing and integration time.

To participate in the module it is not necessary to have previous experience in Holotropic Breathwork. It is required to complete a brief confidential medical form. If you wish to continue with the Grof Transpersonal Training, this module is an optative one.

Cancellation Policy

If the participant is cancelling:

  • The cancellation has a cost of 50€. If the cancellation is produced a week before the course, besides the cancellation cost, an accommodation night will be charged too. 

  • If the cancellation is produced within the 30 days before the course, the amount transferred will not be refunded but it could be applied to any other workshop or module during the following 4 years (with Holotropic Spain) 

  • If the cancellation is produced with more than 30 days in advance, the total amount (minus the 50€ cancellation cost) will be refunded.

If the organization is cancelling:

  • If the organization should cancel the event due to any reason, the entire amount paid for the cancelled event will be refunded to the participants.

  • Important: The organization will not take responsibilities for any additional expenses the cancellation may cause to the participant, as for example, travel expenses (flight tickets, car rental, etc.)

Holotropic Breathwork®

Holotropic Breathwork® is a powerful technique for self-healing and self-exploration allowing for greater self-understanding, expansion of self-identity and access to the roots of emotional and psychosomatic challenges one might face. Holotropic Breathwork® comes from the Greek words ‘holos’ (whole) and ‘trepein’ (going to) meaning moving towards wholeness.





Training

GTT is a program for experiencing and studying Holotropic Breathwork® and the transpersonal perspective. It is a two-track program that can be used either to become a certified practitioner or simply to experience this practice in a more in-depth format. It is the best way to spend time with HB co-developer and one of the founders of transpersonal psychology, Stanislav Grof. Although semi-retired, Stan still teaches at some of the six-day training workshops, also called modules.
