Therapeutic Use of Substances. 4th-9th April 2017 in Spain
6-day residential workshop with Sitara Blasco and Marc Baños.
In the last years there has been a renewed interest in researching the benefits of substances. We will focus on accompaniment and peculiarities of this work.
Workshop content:
1. Workshop presentation
2. General characteristics of substance induced non ordinary states of consciousness
3. Types of substances: etymology and classifications
4. Cultural and geographic uses of therapeutic substances
5. General principles of supporting non ordinary states of consciousness with substances
6. Distinctive features of various substances
7. Integration of the experience: relevant approach of each substance
8. When things don’t go as expected:
a. Emergency intervention during the experience
b. Emergency intervention during the experience
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity of knowing the practical experience of Holotropic Breathwork. There will be 4 Holotropic Breathwork sessions. Each person will have the experience of two sessions as "breather" and two as "sitter".

The price includes: the workshop, hotel accommodation in a double superior room with sea view, free WiFi and Catalonia tourist tax. Full board from lunch on April 4th until breakfast on April 9th and two plentiful coffee breaks a day. Travel Information
If you travel by plane

...and you arrive to Barcelona: The bus from the company SARFA goes directly from the airport to Sant Feliu de Guixols bus station. The route takes 1 hour and 20' and it costs around 17€. Once there, you can take a taxi to the hotel, it only takes 5'.

...and you arrive to Girona: The bus from the company SARFA goes directly from the airport to Sant Feliu de Guixols bus station. The route takes 45' and it costs around 8€. Once there, you can take a taxi to the hotel, it only takes 5'.
Tickets for both buses can be purchased either online or directly from the bus driver.
If you travel by train...
...the nearest train station is in Girona (30 km). For those arriving by train or bus to Girona, the bus station is right in front of the train station.
From Girona, there are buses every hour to Sant Feliu de Guixols (Bus company: SARFA, www.sarfa.com). The ride takes about 40 minutes.
Once in Sant Feliu de Guixols, you should take a taxi to the hotel. It is nearby and the ride takes 5 min.
