Double Holotropic Breathwork Workshop in Dobogókő (close to Budapest) 27-30 June 2024

The workshop will be held in one of the most beautiful places in Hungary close to Budapest. The group will be supported by an experienced GTT facilitator team. Likewise, we expect participants from several countries. The workshop will be held in English with Hungarian translation. The beauty of nature deepens all the preparation, the breathwork experience and the initial integration. In this setting you have the opportunity to experience the adventure of self-discovery in a true human community. Travel Details

The hotel is in Dobogókő, an hour long car drive from Budapest in the Pilis mountain.

Driving distance:
Bratislava, Slovakia: 2.5 hours; Zagreb, Croatia: 4.5 hours; Ljubljana, Slovenia: 5.5 hours; Prague, Czech Republic: 5.5 hours

By car:
From Budapest: Drive north on highway 11. Before you reach Szentendré, turn left at the traffic light onto Dobogókői út in the direction of Pomáz and Pilisszentkereszt. In Pomáz, leave the roundabout at the first exit. Leaving Pomáz, proceed towards Pilisszentkereszt and Dobogókő. When you reach Dobógókő, 3rd Street will turn right into Fény Street, from where you can reach the Cardoner Hotel parking lot.

From Esztergom: Take highway 11 towards Dorog. Leave the first roundabout at exit 4 towards Hősök Tere-Terézia utca, then turn right onto Dobogókői út. Leaving Esztergom, continue along Dobogókő Road to the saddle of the mountain, then turn towards Dobogókő at the fork in the road. When you reach Dobógókő, 3rd Street will turn right into Fény Street, from where you can reach the Cardoner Hotel parking lot.

By bus:
Dobogókő can be reached from Pomáz by bus 860, which starts near the HÉV terminus, choose the Dobogókő, Manréza stop, from where the Hotel Cardoner is only 200 meters away.

Cancellation Policy

The workshop has limited spaces. If you decide not to participate please let us know as soon as possible, so others can join.

Cancellation fee is 70 EUR that has to be paid in case of cancellation till the early bird deadline.

Cancellation fee is the accommodation costs + 30 EUR that has to be paid in case of cancellation after the early bird deadline.

In case of no show without prior cancellation, the sum of the participation fee and the accommodation cost has to be paid.

Holotropic Breathwork® Association of Europe – a Network of GTT certified Holotropic Breathwork® Practitioners in Europe – is providing information and support for people interested in exploring the healing potentials of Holotropic Breathwork®, as well a platform for exchange and learning for GTT (Grof Transpersonal Training® certified Holotropic Breathwork® Practitioners.

Holotropic Breathwork®

Holotropic Breathwork® is a powerful technique for self-healing and self-exploration allowing for greater self-understanding, expansion of self-identity and access to the roots of emotional and psychosomatic challenges one might face. Holotropic Breathwork® comes from the Greek words ‘holos’ (whole) and ‘trepein’ (going to) meaning moving towards wholeness.

Training

GTT is a program for experiencing and studying Holotropic Breathwork® and the transpersonal perspective. It is a two-track program that can be used either to become a certified practitioner or simply to experience this practice in a more in-depth format. It is the best way to spend time with HB co-developer and one of the founders of transpersonal psychology, Stanislav Grof. Although semi-retired, Stan still teaches at some of the six-day training workshops, also called modules.
