Our biological birth is one the most significant and dramatic events in our life. Stan Grof’s research has revealed that our intrauterine experience is imprinted in our memory and has a profound impact on the development of our psyche. In the enhanced states of consciousness people are able to relive various aspects of perinatal (round birth) experience gradually liberating from its traumatic influence and becoming more whole.
Stanislav Grof introduced a concept of “basic perinatal matrices” , encompassing experiences characteristic for various stages of intrauterine development and birth process. Moreover, Stan Grof has found that perinatal dimension of the psyche is connected to the collective unconscious, providing access to the experience of any sentient being and basic processes in nature.
He describes the fact that perinatal experience is an archetypal scenario of transformation unfolding according to “death –rebirth” principal. The mankind has used “death-rebirth” rites and mysteries since ancient time. They symbolically reproduce the birth process in order to liberate people from their psychological confinements and reveal their potential. During this kind of mysteries a man died for his old “limited Self” and was born for his new “real, free Self” obtaining his new identity. Until now the “death-rebirth” scenario is pivotal in the process of human development and dealing with life crisis.

- Those who are interested in Holotropic Breathwork™ and looking for a deep experience of self-exploration and resolution of inner conflicts
- Those who are on GTT certification program or already certified and aim to continue their personal Holotropic Breathwork ™ practice
- Certified Holotropic Breathwork practitioners undertaking professional apprenticeship and supervision program
