Join us on the mysterious island of Samothrace for a therapeutic retreat. The retreat, 'Awakening the Inner Healer: When Consciousness Activates the Self-Healing Process', will take place at the Mariva Hotel.
The workshop will be led by Konstantinos Fytopoulos, who is a psychiatrist, a HeartMath and Holotropic facilitator, a Jungian psychotherapist, and a holistic medical doctor.
Maja Petrovic-Steger, an anthropologist, certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and psychogenealogist, will accompany the therapeutic group.
Evangelia Vlatsiou, who graduated in English Language & Literature and is a holistic yoga teacher and Thai massage therapist, will lead the morning yoga sessions and provide English translations.
Holotropic Breathwork is one of the most powerful and effective techniques for self-exploration and transformation to emerge from 50 years of research into expanding consciousness in Transpersonal Psychology. Drawing on indigenous and pre-Columbian rituals, Eastern spiritual practices and mystical traditions from around the world, as well as modern research into expanded consciousness, it offers a unique approach to self-exploration and transformation.
The practice helps individuals to overcome a sense of internal fragmentation and separation from their environment and themselves. This state is activated and directed by each person's own inner therapeutic wisdom, depending on their readiness, resistance, and availability.
The process is non-invasive and non-directional, driven entirely by the individual's internal healing intelligence and authority. The unconscious material that emerges is unique to each individual and has a strong transformational, therapeutic, and unifying effect.
Holotropic states of consciousness enable us to access the deeper layers of the soul, offering a broader perspective on our life and its meaning. A wide range of unconscious material may be revealed, including memories relating to the individual's life (even those that have been forgotten or repressed), physical and sensory memories, physical sensations connected to psychosomatic issues, emotions connected to significant experiences, elements of the personal and collective unconscious, karmic memories, cellular memories, memories connected to birth, shamanic visions, archetypal content, and spiritual experiences.
