Michael Rapp is a medical doctor who trained as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Berlin and New York, with post degree training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and group analysis. He works as a professor at the University of Potsdam with a focus on nonpharmacological and complementary and alternative interventions for prevention, treatment and recovery for mental health problems and is a member of the German Center for Mental Health.
Michael also works as a psychotherapist in private praxis in Berlin, offering a holistic psychotherapy approach based on transpersonal and psychodynamic psychology, and an integration group for people with challenging experiences during non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Michael started holotropic breathwork in 2021 and certified as a GTT holotropic breathwork facilitator in 2024.
