About

I grew up on a small farm in Ireland, close to the border with Northern Ireland. For more than half of my life I have lived away, mostly in London, and engaged in an ever-deepening, always challenging and always rewarding exploration of the inner landscape. Breathwork, therapy, dreams, relating, synchronicity and poetry all play a vital role in that exploration.

I had the good fortune to train as a psychotherapist at the Chiron Centre for Body Psychotherapy in London and as a Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator with GTT. These trainings informed me of the need to be present and compassionate to my own wounded-ness in order to be present and compassionate to others.

I am interested in the interface between creativity, dreams and the breath and in exploring new ways to develop these connections. I am passionately engaged in writing poetry and regularly read my work at events in London.

Slí Anála*

The way of the breath

is the way of the birth

and the death,

the grace

and the new life.

The breath of the way

is the breath of this day

on this earth,

this place

and in this life.

(*Slí Anála is Irish for ‘the way of breath’)
