Jussi comes from Finland and is a psychiatrist and integrative psychotherapist. He has specialized in addiction medicine and has trained in EMDR, TRE, and MBSR. He has a particular interest in phenomena related to complex and relational traumatization.
He graduated from the Grof Transpersonal Training as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator in the spring of 2023 and is a co-founder of the Holotropic Breathwork Finland Association.
Jussi's interest in altered states of consciousness and working with them has emerged from personal integrative experiences. These experiences have also guided him to explore different ways of perceiving and understanding the human experience. A central aspect of Jussi’s work is creating a safe and supportive space that allows inner processes to unfold. This is grounded in the concept of Inner Wisdom, which refers to the innate tendency of the human body, mind, and soul to heal and grow.
Jussi believes that Holotropic Breathwork offers a powerful pathway for inner exploration, healing, and transformation—both individually and collectively. He is committed to making this work more visible and accessible in therapeutic and wider human contexts.
“Many of us spend our whole lives running from feelings with the mistaken belief that you cannot bear the pain. But you have already borne the pain. What you have not done is feel all you are, beyond that pain.” — Khalil Gibran
